Family Partnership Circle

A place for families to connect, contribute, and grow together in the life of our school and community.

Everyone Has a Place Here

The Family Partnership Circle (FPC) is First Pres's open family and community volunteer group. It brings parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, church members, and other members of our wider community together to strengthen communication, coordinate volunteer support, and create meaningful opportunities for families to be part of school life.

Want to Be Part of the FPC?

Connection, Service & Community

The FPC is where families and community members come together to help make school events, volunteer opportunities, family experiences, and campus projects happen.

There is no membership or nomination process. You can participate as much or as little as your time and interests allow.

Advisory & Vision Board

Governance & Vision

The Advisory & Vision Board (AVB) has a different role: advising school administration and church leadership, offering specialized insight, and helping guide the school's long-term direction.

Separating these functions allows the AVB to focus on governance and vision while the FPC focuses on family involvement and community participation.

What the FPC Is Here to Do

Our work centers on three simple goals that help families feel connected to one another and to the life of First Pres.

01

Volunteer Coordination

Connect willing hands with the events, classroom experiences, campus projects, and everyday needs where extra support makes a difference.

02

Communication

Create more opportunities for families to hear what's happening, ask questions, share ideas, and stay connected with school leadership.

03

Community

Build opportunities for families to spend time together, contribute their gifts, and become an active part of the wider First Pres community.

Where We Still Need Help

You do not have to lead a committee to be part of it. Volunteers can jump in for a specific event, project, or task that fits their interests and availability.

Fall Festival

Create a fun, welcoming community celebration through setup, children's activities, trunks, candy, hospitality, and other event-day needs.

Family Campus Events

Bring families onto campus for gatherings such as Grandparents Day, Veterans Day, and Mother's Day through refreshments, decorations, setup, and general support.

Art Show & Scholarship Fundraising

Help support the annual Art Show and the scholarship fund through year-round fundraising ideas, planning, outreach, and event support.

Outdoor Spaces

Care for the outdoor places where so much of First Pres learning happens.

Come As You Are

You don't need a title, a committee assignment, or a large amount of free time to belong here. Maybe you can help at one event. Maybe you have a skill to share with students. Maybe you simply want to meet other families and hear what's happening.

There is room for you in the Family Partnership Circle.
