Worship and Community
Do I need to be a member to attend worship?
Not at all. First Pres welcomes visitors, newcomers, and anyone exploring questions of faith. Come as you are.
What should I expect on my first Sunday?
Our worship includes music, prayer, Scripture, and a sermon. Visit our Your First Visit page for details about finding us and what to expect.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. Nursery care for infants through PreK is available Sundays from 9–11 a.m., and older children can attend during the 9–10 a.m. Bible study hour. During worship, children in kindergarten through fourth grade can join Thesbyterians, our theater-based Sunday school. Youth group for grades 5–12 meets every other Sunday after worship. See Your First Visit for more details.
Can visitors take communion?
First Pres welcomes people to the Lord’s Supper regardless of membership status or faith background.
