Growth & Assessment

NWEA MAP Growth, teacher observation, and documentation help us understand progress and guide individualized learning.

Learning Through Inquiry

The question matters.

Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach grows with our students. Teachers listen, observe, and guide children as their questions become investigations.

Learning connects across subjects: students gather evidence, research, create, collaborate, and share their discoveries. The goal is to explain their thinking and use what they know in meaningful ways.

Arts & Enrichment

More ways to discover.

During the school day and after school, students explore interests, build confidence, and learn alongside others.

  • Art, theater & cooking: Create, perform, explore materials, and practice practical skills.
  • Band & orchestra: Develop musical skills through practice, collaboration, and performance. Opportunities are expanding as schedules and staffing are finalized.
  • Movement & outdoor learning: Build teamwork, resilience, curiosity, and care for the natural world.
  • Leadership & service: Practice responsibility, initiative, and compassion within our school and community.

Student interests and teachers’ observations help shape our developing after-school program.

“Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more.”
